24-hour emergency roofing in Hollywood
Storm damage, exposed areas and active leaks. Call any hour and tell us what you are seeing.
When water is coming in
First stop the water, then fix the roof
After a storm or a sudden leak the first job is to keep more water out: covering the exposed area or drying it in, so the house is protected until the lasting repair can be made.
Severe weather can tear off tile and shingles, open up flashing and leave decking exposed. Emergency work goes to those exposed areas and active leaks first; the permanent repair or replacement follows once the roof is safe to work on and the damage is clear.
The line is open 24 hours. When you call, tell us where the water shows up, what the roof is made of and whether you can see damage from the ground.
Working on a roof during high winds or lightning is not safe for anyone. The first visit happens as soon as the weather allows; until then, the steps below help limit the damage inside the house.
What emergency work covers
- Exposed roof areas covered or dried in
- Active leaks slowed or stopped at the source
- Loose or hanging material made safe
- The permanent repair or replacement planned next

Until help arrives
What to do while you wait
A few simple steps limit the damage inside the house.
Catch the water
Put buckets or towels under drips and move furniture and electronics out of the way.
Stay off the roof
Wet tile and shingles are slippery, and damaged decking can give way.
Watch the ceiling
A sagging, bulging ceiling can be holding water. Keep people out from under it.
Take photos
Photograph the damage from the ground and inside the house for your insurer.
Call your insurer
Ask your insurance company how it wants a storm claim reported.
Mind the power lines
Keep away from downed lines and from any wiring near the water.
Questions
Emergency roofing questions
Is the line really open 24 hours?
Yes. The phone line is open 24 hours a day, every day. Call (754) 291-4149, describe the damage and we will tell you what can be done and when.
Do you take emergency calls outside Hollywood?
Yes, across the communities we serve within about 8 miles: from Fort Lauderdale, Plantation and Davie to the north and west, through Dania Beach, Hallandale Beach and Pembroke Park, to Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, North Miami Beach and Miami Gardens in Miami-Dade County. The full list and a map are on the service area page.
Will you cover the damaged area?
Covering or drying in exposed areas is part of emergency work, so the house is protected until the permanent repair.
Does my insurance cover storm damage?
That depends on your policy. Report the damage to your insurer; a roofing contractor in Florida is not a public adjuster and cannot negotiate the claim for you.
What happens after the emergency visit?
Once the roof is safe and the damage is clear, we plan the permanent repair or replacement with you.
Should I wait for the storm to pass before calling?
Call when it is safe for you to do so. You can report the damage at any hour; nobody should go up on a roof while the storm is still blowing.
What information helps when I call?
Where the water is coming in, what the roof is made of, roughly how old it is and whether you can see damage from the ground. Photos taken from a safe spot help too.
Water coming in now?
Call any hour. Tell us where the water shows up and we will talk you through the next step.
